Celine Dion’s epic Paris couture week fashion marathon continued in France today with a very ’90s/’00s nostalgic look. The singer was photographed leaving her Paris hotel, wearing a grey open sleeved blazer, a black mini skirt, and a “I Heart Paris Hilton” top. She finished the look with a Titanic Heart of the Ocean necklace and a bedazzled pair of shades. It’s equal parts business and pleasure:
Obviously this was not Dion’s only look today. Dion was just photographed at the Valentino couture show, wearing a white feathered sequin mini dress. Her hair, which was pin straight this morning, is now styled in waves. She completed the look with drop earrings:
Today is not the first time Dion has made a reference to Titanic, where she sang its biggest song “My Heart Will Go On” back in the ’90s. Dion went viral for wearing Off-White’s $885 Titanic sweatshirt back in July 2016.
Dion spoke to ELLE in its June issue this year about how much she loves dressing up…and how she’s taking her status as the internet’s beloved style icon. “I love fashion a lot, definitely,” she started. “For me, fashion is art. It’s a way of expressing yourself. When I put something on, I play. I don’t take myself seriously. I kind of, like, borrow a character. But to be considered a fashion icon?” She threw her hands up. “I don’t know, I just do one day at a time, do the best I can, feel the way that I want to feel. That’s the most important thing.”
